Privacy

Discretion is part of every commission. This page explains what information TEMI JOHNSON collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. It is written to follow Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA).

What I collect

  • When you inquire: your name, email, phone, the commission you’re considering, your due date if you’re expecting, the size of your family group, your preferred timing, and anything you choose to share about what you’d like your portrait to hold.
  • When you commission: your address for installation or delivery, and payment details, which are handled securely by Stripe and GHL Payments and never stored by the studio.
  • Your portraits: the images created at your sitting.
  • When you visit the website: basic analytics and advertising data through cookies, explained below.

Why I collect it

To reply to your inquiry, plan and deliver your commission, process payment, send you information you’ve asked for, and understand which pages and ads help women find the studio. Nothing else.

Where it’s kept

Your details are stored in GoHighLevel, the studio’s client management system, and your portraits in secure studio storage. Only Temi, and anyone directly helping with your commission (such as a hair and makeup artist or installer), sees the information they need.

I never sell your information

Your details are never sold, rented or shared for anyone else’s marketing.

Text messages

If you agree to receive texts, they come only from TEMI JOHNSON. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging consent and phone numbers are never shared with third parties.

Your portraits

Your portraits are never shown in the portfolio, on social media or in advertising without your written consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, and the images will be removed from anything the studio controls.

Cookies, analytics and ads

This website uses Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Hotjar to understand how visitors use the site and to measure advertising. These tools may use cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

How long I keep it

Inquiry details are kept for up to 24 months if you don’t commission. Client records and portraits are kept as part of your family’s Living Archive unless you ask me to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Send requests to hello@temijohnson.ca, and I’ll respond within 30 days.
