A: During the Design Strategy Session, we plan every detail: which family members to include, wardrobe coordination, which combinations to photograph (full group, mother-daughter, grandmother-granddaughter, individuals), and creative direction. We handle the logistics so you can focus on being together.

A: This is the most common response we hear. Most matriarchs resist because they’ve spent their lives putting themselves last. The Matriarch Method exists specifically for this — you can apply on her behalf and
gift the experience. Once she’s in the studio with professional hair and makeup, surrounded by family, the resistance dissolves.

A: The studio environment gives us complete control over lighting, which produces the most consistent, museum-quality results. However, for large family groups or clients who want an environmental portrait incorporating their home or property, location sessions can be arranged. We discuss this during the Design Strategy Session.
